Seshat's Record presents Girls on Aux Industry Pool Party — a summer afternoon where the women shaping music, the executives building it, and the DJs spinning it all gather in one place.
This isn't a party. It's a working space disguised as one. An all-female DJ lineup will be spinning records by local female artists throughout the afternoon — meaning the women in the pool, on the deck, and at the bar are hearing themselves and their peers being celebrated through real industry curation.
Brand activations, summer games, and the kind of energy that turns the right rooms into the right relationships. The kind of networking that only happens when serious people are also actually having fun.
Seshat's Record presents Women Of The Sound Retreat — an annual gathering for the women shaping the music industry, hosted in New Orleans during Essence Festival weekend.
This is a curated retreat for executives, managers, A&Rs, producers, attorneys, publishers, marketing leads, founders, and the women whose decisions move the industry forward.
For three nights, we step out of the city we work in and into the city the culture comes to. Real conversation in spaces designed for it. Real connection with peers operating at the same level. Real time to think, plan, breathe, and build alongside women who actually understand the work — over an Essence weekend that doesn't get repeated.
