Seshat's Record presents Women Of The Sound Retreat — an annual gathering for the women shaping the music industry, hosted in New Orleans during Essence Festival weekend.
This is a curated retreat for 12 female music industry professionals. Executives, managers, A&Rs, producers, attorneys, publishers, marketing leads, founders, and the women whose decisions move the industry forward.
For three nights, we step out of the city we work in and into the city the culture comes to. Real conversation in spaces designed for it. Real connection with peers operating at the same level. Real time to think, plan, breathe, and build alongside women who actually understand the work — over an Essence weekend that doesn't get repeated.
