Nine fully independent Hip-Hop artists. One weekend in Austin. Proof that Hip-Hop is thriving without the industry's permission.

Seshat's Record brought nine fully independent artists to Austin for SXSW weekend — three days of shared housing, shared meals, shared time. A private artist house where the structure was intimacy and the programming was proximity.

Within one month of the trip, the ecosystem was already active. Two artists were booked on a Seshat's Record team member's project. Four collaborated independently on a track. One was prospected by the indie label owner who was on the trip. The world we built in Austin is still their world.

This is what World Building looks like when the brand understands that the big moments aren't where culture lives.
