Seshat's Record presents Musicians Volunteering — a community service day where musicians, artists, and music industry professionals come together to give back.
On June 30, we're assembling 100 care packages — filled with health, wellness, and personal hygiene items, designed to bring real comfort and dignity to families currently living in shelters.
This is more than a volunteer day. It's a chance for the music community to show up for the women and children who need us most. The work itself is simple — assembling care packages, packing kits, and preparing them for distribution. But the impact is real, and the room is intentional.
If you're a musician, artist, songwriter, producer, engineer, manager, executive, content creator, or anyone working in or around the music industry — we'd love you in the room.

Who is this event for? Musicians, artists, songwriters, producers, engineers, managers, music industry executives, content creators, and anyone working in or around music. If you make, support, or build the music industry — you're welcome.
Do I need any experience or special skills? No. The work is simple — assembling care packages, packing kits, and preparing them with intention. Just bring your hands, your heart, and your time.
How long is the volunteer day? Specific timing TBA. Plan for approximately 3–4 hours.
Where is the location? The location is TBA. Confirmed volunteers will receive final location details and any necessary parking or arrival info in advance of the event.
Can I donate items instead of volunteering? Yes. If you'd prefer to contribute health, wellness, or personal hygiene items directly, please reach out and we'll share a list of items still needed.
Will the packages be delivered the same day? The packages will be delivered to partner shelters in the days following our assembly day. Volunteers will receive impact updates after distribution.
What should I bring? Just yourself. We'll provide everything you need — including all care package items, assembly supplies, and refreshments.
